European Veterinarians Education Research and Industry

EVERI represents veterinarians employed in the sectors of education, research and/or industry. Founded in 2005, EVERI is an umbrella organization of 24 national and European associations.

Membership comprise veterinarians employed by academia, profit and non-profit research, pharmaceutical or commercial organisations, or act as consultants for these.

EVERI's mission is to promote the health and well being of man and animals by creating a better understanding with the general public of the benefits of research, innovation and education in veterinary sciences.

Our mission is devolped through specific projects aimed to support veterinary students to get knowledge on alternative professional career pathways and build strong relations with academia, industry and research organizations on veterinary matters

Our vision

One Health: humans, animals and environment

We live in a rapidly changing world where many people and animals are living closely together and can travel rapidly between countries and continents.  Veterinarians are at the centre of this world and protect the well-being and welfare of humans and animals and environmental susteinability.

Education, Research and Industry are key factors to ensure that veterinarians may contribute, together with others, in designing and implementing programmes, policies, legislation and research, to achieve better public health outcomes, in line with the principle of “ One Health”.

 

EVERI is a member of FVE

FVE is the European representative body for the veterinary profession in Europe. FVE’s mission is to enhance animal health, animal welfare, public health and the protection of the environment by promoting the veterinary profession.
