In 2025, EVERI marked its 20th anniversary, celebrating alongside the 50th anniversary of FVE.

Founded in Nice in 2005, EVERI emerged from a legacy that dates back to 1975, when FEVIR (Federation of European Veterinarians in Industry and Research) was established. Today, EVERI stands as the umbrella organisation for 24 national and European associations, uniting veterinarians across academia, research, industry, pharmaceutical and commercial sectors, and independent consultancy.

Over the past two decades, EVERI has played a key role in fostering collaboration, advancing veterinary science, and strengthening the voice of professionals who drive innovation, education, and research throughout Europe.
